Scribblenauts is an upcoming side-scrolling platformer from the guys who made Drawn to Life, where you retrieve Stars from maps in locations around the world. The twist is that, on the bottom screen, you write the word of an object you want to summon to help you.
For example, you have to cross a shark-infested river. You could ask for a bridge, or you could drop a toaster in the water to electrocute the sharks, allowing you to swim to the other side.
It's due for release in Autumn 2009, along with Halo 3 ODST, Assassins creed 2 and Modern warfare 2.
